        Their Engagement Story
Mat gave me my birthday gift.  It was perfume from Victoria's Secret.  It had diamonds floating around in the perfume.  I went to smell it and noticed a trinket attached to the top.  Thinking it was just decoration, I continued to smell it.  Mat gave me a strange look.  I didn't want to assume it was THE RING.  I finally said, "Is this..." He said, "well, yes".  He tied the ring to the bottle with fishing line.  I was speechless.  Then he finally said, "Well, yes or no?"  Not the get on your knees proposal, but it worked and I said, "yes!".
